Gigabyte RMA

jcastro_805

I have a problem with my Gigabyte 290x and have determined that I need to get it RMAed. How fast should I expect it to take form the time I fill out my form until I get my card back and can play games again? I live in DC if that matters

over a month unless you use advanced shipping which I don't recommend because chances are they will make something up and force you to send the replacement back.

@Midnitewarrior4

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Can take some time but your mileage may very.They'll usually ship your new card a few days after they have received the defective one. My friend had to send back his Sapphire R9 280X and it took about two and half weeks.

Took me over a month to get them to offer a RMA and then they hit me with shipping. I hope your experience is better.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

well my experience so far is pretty crap, they make you pay for shipping, there's no way of emailing them after you ship the item to tell them the tracking number or anything, they will probably take a couple days to see if it's something fixable then maybe send you a new one then depending on how far you live the shipping time back, there based in California for north America so I'm in ontario Canada so for me it's gonna be at least a month before I see anything back.... I will probably never go gigabyte again after my experiences with their product and service
