I'm sorry but am I the only one who guessed that Star Wars Battlefront was just gonna be a beautiful Battlefield 4 reskin?

PlayStation 2

I thought it was going to be.

It kinda is? But it was fun none the less in beta.

Won't pay full price though. It's a pretty casual shooter.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Its not a BF4 reskin. Despite the broken shit BF4 is a better game. And I think that is shit compared to BF 1942, BF2 and BF3.

I think everyone expected that.

Just disappointed EA made it so much for the casual market.

In the aim of authenticity they just made the game not fun to play.

Even if they used different engines it wouldn't make any difference. The game isn't a reskin. If it was it'd be a better game.

I never cared about SW games and I haven't played it but it's coming from EA, is made by DICE, it uses the frostbite engine and it's an online shooter... what did you expect exactly?

I was simply making the point that if they use the same engine, there's gonna be some resemblance between the two regardless

Not really. Graphics-wise, yes-ish. Gameplay-wise, no. Dragon Age: Inquisition was made on the same engine, for example.

I did say some resemblance... Need for Speed uses Frostbite and IMO there's a canny resemblance between that and BF4 (graphically)

It's like a really bad issue in Borderlands 2 especially.

You should see the poorly developed indie titles in Unity (if you haven't already)

Yeah it's a bad game on how it was delivered, yet still having a lot of fun every day with it... so there is that.

Even with its flaws, me playing it casually, is easy to do, and fun to boot.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
