Looking to upgrade to a variable refresh rate monitor.


In CAD: XB270HU is 849.99. MG279Q is 699.99. Monitors seems to be the same to me aside from G-SYNC vs Freesync.


If I sell my GTX970 for >$300 and buy a R9 390 the AMD route may be cheaper in the end. So should I sell my 970 for a 390 or just buy the G-SYNC monitor?


 


If there is a black friday 390 sale i could potentially save $100 if I can get $350 for my card.
