netgear n300 or tp-link av200 for steam link?

Walker998

obviously i want the least amount of latency, the tp link connects to the router via the wall another item which connects to the router from there, compared to the net-gear one which connects to the router wirelessly; and i do intend to use the Ethernet input; will there be any latency difference, and i do intend to use it as a wireless range extender as well which is why i didn't just choose a powerline ethernet.

Powerline is probably the better option but only because you won't be sharing bandwidth with other devices. That said the wireless in the Steam Link is pretty damn good so both are "ok" options. Though if you're using a range extender your latency will be pretty damn average indeed.
