i7 4790K 75c Core 52c Socket

hug0mac

Is this "okay" or should I be worried? Not overclocked. Using AIDA64 to push it.

My first i7 btw :) Little help.

Thx

That title makes no sense.

Also,  75 at most should be okay, but 80 and up is when you wanna panic.  Also, if you are that worried about the temps then get maybe an all in one liquid cooler.

Core 1, 2, 3 and 4 does not go over 75c in AIDA64. Socket temperature stays around 50-52c. I come from a Pentum G3258 so I don't know what are safe temps for the i7 4790K.

And I been thinking of Noctua NH-U9S.

So the temps are safe until core temps it 80c? Good to know!

Socket temp is the board temp sensor, not the CPU temp.  Makes perfect sense.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

When there is no danger of failure there is no pleasure in success.
