My mic in skype

My friends always complain that all of a sudden,my mic will go crazy with a buttload of static sound.

I went to check in sounds and skype audio settings and when theres no sound,the static is in full,when i put 0 output volume then it solves the issue,but the static goes out and i go completely muted due to the setting being 0

So i might give my friends ear cancer... someone help?

Are the headphones defective? Maybe the cable is slightly frayed.  Additionally, it could be some kind of software problem.  I'd suggest uninstalling any 3rd party software you have that is unnecessary.

 

Also, does it show any output?

I started to have a similar problem when i installed the Samson sound deck for my Samson meteor. I uninstalled it and it has not done it since. This is probably what is happening to you but with some different software.

when the noise comes, it showws Max vol.at the same time, if i lower the vol to 0, there will be 0 noise and i can speak

But when you start expierencing the noise does this thing show a signal in the meter on the right?

But when you start expierencing the noise does this thing show a signal in the meter on the right?

My friends hear it, i dont,on skype,steam chat,any chat.

On my speakers,nothing. Because i dont hear it anyways

On recording under my microphone tho. It shows maxed out volume when the noise comes.

I then tinkered around with the volume settinfs and lowered my mic output volume to 0 thru levels under properties

It works for awhile, no noise but can speak thru.

Then it goes mutes after while

The same time,the noise goes away.

Meaning: the noise comes, ill have to put 0% vol on my mic to output

When the noise goes,ill have to put it back to 100% again

Just use teamspeak skype has gotten so bad over the years. This problem happens all the time you can't fix it
