1x8GB or 2x4GB RAM?

Hi guys

I'm looking for 8GB of RAM and my question is if it's better to buy two 4GB RAM-sticks or one 8GB RAM-stick? Both would be clocked at 1866mhz.

Thanks for your help!

Edit: Because I remember a while a go you would get up to 30% higher speeds with 2x4GB.

Next to no difference

But if he buys 2 x 4 GB ram, he wouldnt be able to upgrade to 16 GB RAM in the future

EDIT: sorry, im tiered today, meant 32, although maybe the ram will be too slow by then, but its safer to buy 1x8

Well, I'll have 4 RAM slots so that's not an issue.

I meant 32, but the RAM will probably be too old by then for it to be relevant
