What would be the best headphones/headset for $100-$150?

I used to have Astro A40 headset and it was the best headset/headphones i have owned.

 

I would like that is about as comfortable,with as good if not better sound quality,a mic would be nice but i don't have to have it  cause i could get a clip on mic.

Ive been using these for a while and they dropped in price recently to $130

Love em. 

If your intended use is purely music, I have no complaints. There is no mic, but still. Top music.

I plan on listening to music,watching youtube,and gaming. I think a decent clip on mic is $20 so that would put it right at the top of my budget.

$130 is their sale price btw, they are $150-$160 normally, but I still wouldn't spend $130 on the M50.

 

If the M50 has your interest, take a look at the NVX XPT100, sells for $100 and worth it's price. You can grab a modmic to throw onto the side of one of the cups.
