New PC, but having VCard troubles..

When I take my video card out, everything works. When I put it in the PCI-E slot, the computer will turn on but won't show up on the monitor (DVI) ... I'm on a asus z170. Please help, thank you.

I only really want my card in the native slot...

And okay I will give it a go.
