Exactly why I won't even touch iOS.

That's one stupid reason considering IOS is much more efficient. You could pick a good reason like no access to folders at least :P

Only reason I use iOS is because of iMessage and mainly because I can't text my friends who have iPods then.

Also, not to mention I CAN'T GET RID OF BUILT IN APPS I HAVEN'T EVEN TOUCHED ONCE.

One other thing that is starting to piss me off is I cant quick access the settings app. I have to leave whatever im doing and manually select it instead of on Android just pulling down and pressing the gear icon...

Moved to Mobile Devices.

That's one out of many, many other reasons.

  • Siri gives you lousy answers while Google Now actually gives you legit answers that you are looking for.
  • In order to get iOS you have to buy a $200+ device while you can buy an Android device of the same quality for cheaper.
  • You can access more of Android without jailbreaking than you can with iOS.
  • Android is far more open-sourced and is much more customizable than iOS.
  • iOS has a higher crash rate than Android.

There's things I love about both, but I think even us Apple fans will 'cede that Siri sucks for looking things up.

For built in apps:

Settings > General > Restrictions > enable and turn off the apps you don't want to see.

For everything else just delete and free up some space...

I dont wanna just shove them all in folders either its ugly

You should write them, could bee a new feature in IOS 10 ! How would they get unhidden unless you had an app launcher or app drawer like android, maybe a section when you pull up from the bottom ?

Im trying out a Ipad as a multimedia device and this all feels really strange because the only other time ive used IOS is my GF's old Iphone 5 and my old Ipod touch lol

EDIT - Its also really awkward pressing a hardware button to back out of everything..................

Oh damn. I wish I could try an iPhone without having to keep it.

Same here, IOS does not seem fluid at all compared to Android...maybe its because Im used to it....idk it just seems like everything has more steps than usual...

Swipe up from bottom for Control Centre...

Those only give me a few options tho......Im talking about getting into the actual location of the settings. Its so stupid its hidden in an app. Why cant they just a button in the quick settings panel so u can access it from wherever...

You can't take any apps off the home screen. You can only banish them to a folder and throw the folder onto another page of the home screen.
