Xbox One, Graphics card? Or APU?

mattonfire

Does the Xbox One actually have a Graphics Card, or is it an APU? I am getting 2 different answers from 2 different reviews can someone clear it up for me?

I think it's an APU.

It's an APU. It doesn't have a separate graphics chip.

XBox one has an APU

PS4 has an APU.

Low end computes have APU (or iGPU)

I think it's an APU.

The Xbox One has an APU. Its CPU is comparable to an Athlon X4 760K and its GPU is a carbon copy of the R7 260X.

Though so, cheers guys because I have this friend who is a console skrub who keeps going on about that they have separate graphics cards and if they took it out of the console it would wreck my current one which is total BS. I also took apart an Xbox 360 and saw no card there so maybe I thought the Xbox One could've been different but apparently not.

The Xbox 360 has a GPU, but it is soldered to the motherboard next to the GPU

They're never 'cards' they're chips.

The Xbox One has 'One' APU chip on the motherboard.

If i'm correct, the slim model just has one chip? @Comic_Sans_MS

This.

Also you're right about the 360 Slim's CPU and GPU being one unified chip.
