Asrock x99 Extreme4 vs Msi X99A Sli plus?

I'd get the MSI one. ASRock has a great, relatively cheap X99 mobo which is the X99X Killer but it's a little more expensive, the MSI budget ones look better imo though

MSI board is very highly rated, I've seen it lauded as the "best budget X99 board" a few times, so I say the MSI.

normally i to would go with the msi board, it was actually my first choice for this build. 

but then id come to realize that the asrock comes with alot more features. including; a better sound chipset, ultra m.2, quad channel (msi has tri channel), a lot of internal connector features.

things steering me away from it however are that msi is a much more renowned branding for good reason, and the bright blue would clash with my color coordination of black/purple, and the lack of onboard 3.1 usb (granted not much support for it at the moment, but looking into the future it will. there is the extension card but that only has 1 usb 3.1  and 1 usb 3.1 type-c)
