xclaim xi3 vs ruckus r500

which one would be best for a 5500 square foot house? speed and latency at distances are priorities. the load will be moderate, about 8 devices using the network.

I would say Ruckus. In general, their products have WAAAAYYYY better signal than xclaim. You could even get more than one less expensive Ubiquity AC ap's.

I've always found Ruckus very good, same for Ubiquiti. For your use case Ubiquiti would probably be the better choice.
