Noctua Introduces 24V IndustrialPPC Fans

Noctua today presented 24V variants of its renowned industrialPPC fans. Conceived for industrial heavy-duty applications that require enhanced cooling performance and advanced ingress protection, Noctua’s industrialPPC (Protected Performance Cooling) line comprises ruggedised high-speed versions of the company’s award-winning retail fans. The new 24V models use a dedicated wide input range version of Noctua’s NE-FD2 three-phase motor driver IC in order to support 24V-based industrial applications and to provide moderate speeds and lower noise levels in standard 12V PC environments.

i think people are forgetting these arent really meant for normal pc cooling. $35 for an industrial fan isnt too bad.

I want these so bad. I have an idea for an external water cooling loop where the rads and fans are outside the room. These would work wonderfully for that.

Yeah, but these are quite sexy. Would love to be able to theme a build without having to paint fan blades. I am currently looking at using this: http://www.nextwarehouse.com/item/?2088161_g10e

 

They are gonna be quite loud though. It all depends on how well the stock fan on the ID Cooling Is-VC45 performs. If it cant keep a 6700k cool enough, ill have to lap it and invest in a more aggressive fan.

I agree, 92 mm fans are underrated IMHO. They just naturally fit so well on SFF builds. If dual 92mm AIO's for SFF became a thing I would totally buy it.

They don't need to be quiet. They are for industrial purposes, and nobody gives a toss about silence when you have an air con unit running at 100% 24/7.
