Awful connection with amazing internet problem.

Bogdan_Dirlosan

Hello,

So I have sove problems with my internet connectio. I usually have a 500 mbit/s up down. But it started to have some problems.
I need to specify that it works just fine on my phone, full speed.

It now shows that I have a 10 mBit/s speed (in windows atleast)
Here's a photo.

Thanks.

Did this just start happening recently or you have always had slow internet to your PC?

Do you have a spare PCI based network card around you can test? Also what version of windows are you running.

Gotta search hard through my old part collection, and I am running Windows 10 Pro, Same problem persisted when I had Windows 7.

Ok so thats not the issue. Weirdly enough it could be as simple as your PC needs a refresh to as hard as your connection to your router/switch has something wrong and is not getting the correct transfer speeds from the PC

Good job on blocking out such crucial and personally identifiable information in the screen capture. Had I seen your link's uptime and how much data has been transferred in your LAN it would be a simple matter to track you down and hack your stuff.  <_<

Seriously, what do you actually think you're protecting by blocking that info ??

One of three options; your NIC is junk and about to die, your cable is junk, or the port on your router that your computer is plugged into is junk and about to die.

You need to troubleshoot. Get another machine with a known good patch cable and plug it in to the router to verify that you can get a gigabit connection. Work backwards from there.
