Best Desktop Speakers for Music and Film?

Hi, 

 

I'm in the market for a pretty nice set of desktop speakers. I was looking at the Audioengine 5+ speakers and I just wanted to check in here if there were any better solutions for around the same price.

I am pretty much happy with B&W MM-1s. Linus even has some review of them.

 

There is remote controller included. I even watch movies from my bed, they are loud enough and look really amazing.

 

But I have no idea about price in dollars.
