980ti performance issues.

Lantern

Hi! I recently bought a 980ti Lighting and have started to notice that it might not be running as well as it should be. On Borderlands 2 I get barely 60fps @1080p Ultra settings and it sometimes dips to 40 or below. I have run a few benchmarks and they seem to be on par with other 980TIs. The rest of my build includes a 4770k and an SSD. Is this normal, and if not, how can I fix it?

Have you tried anything to troubleshoot the problem? Have you tried other games? Benchmarking programs?

Is everything physically ok with the card? Fans spinning? Temps okay? No throttling? Etc, etc

Only other game I really play that drops my card below 60 is minecraft but thats a terrible thing to use as a benchmark. I got a 8328 on 3D Mark Fire Strike Extreme with a small overclock, and that seems to be about standard. Does anyone know how to oc this beast? I've seen people get it up to almost 1500MHz but I haven't been able to get it past 1278MHz. Thats not really the issue right now though lol
