budget gaming pc

skeverdoo

im building a budget pc here in the philippines. dont mind the prices because its expensive here. but its still a budget pc. here are the specs that i made. i want to ask some advice if there is anything out of the ordinary about the specs i made for my build.

Core i3 4170

MSI H81M-P33

Kingston Hyperx Fury 1600mhz Dual Channel

Western Digital Caviar Blue

GTX 950, if i have extra i can squeeze a R9 380 4gb

Deepcool DE 500w PSU

Deepcool Smarter Micro ATX Case

most budget builds here in the philippines are paired with a Deepcool DE 500w PSU. just wanna ask if this PSU will do for the build. i can upgrade the PSU later on.

i tried computing my power wattage with the i3 and gtx 950, using extreme power supply calculator, these were the results. i dont plan to OC.

Load Wattage:227 W
Recommended UPS rating:500 VA
Recommended PSU Wattage:277 W

thats under 8 hours of game time. i also tried with a r7 360 and this were the results

Load Wattage:237 W

Recommended UPS rating:500 VA
Recommended PSU Wattage:287 W

That PSU is just enough. What do you plan to upgrade in the future? Please don't immediately go and buy it after reading my comment. Ask other people as well :)

i think its worth the extra budget and getting a gtx 970 or invest on some of the older cards that have better performance then the 950

edit: an r9 290 is a great card for the price also and comes in very similar to the 290x but is much cheaper
