Need confirmation on this laptop

lak90

I had opened another thread a while ago but ended up not buying the laptop. Some things have changed in the mean time so I would like some opinions before buying.

I would mostly use it to browse, listen music, watch videos and occasionally game. The laptop is going to replace the desktop and should be a sober looking 15.6" one.

I would be buying the Optimus VII from PC specialist.

My current desktop:

Intel Core i5 2500

ATI 5770 1GB VRAM

4GB RAM

The laptop:

Intel Core i7 6700HQ

NVIDIA GTX 960M

8GB Kingston DDR3 1600MHz

Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD

Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Total £810

What do you guys think?

Are there any better deals around?

That's an 960m not a desktop 960.

- CPU: Intel i7 3770 - GPU: MSI R9 390 - RAM: 16GB of DDR3 - SSD: Crucial BX100 - HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB -

Yes, yes you can. Just that you may run out of space much more quickly. But you can always add a HDD down the road.

I'm going for a single SSD in the laptop in the m.2 slot. Crucial MX200 M.2 2280 250GB.
