Need Help Finding a Good 2 in 1

therealvee

I'm looking to get a 2 in 1 laptop for my mom this Christmas but I'm pretty out of date with current tech and could use a little help. Looking for something that works really well doing everyday office tasks (Microsoft Suite, Photoshop, etc.) , has decent storage capacity, and an SD card slot (she loves to take photos and scrapbook.) My budget is around $500 I'm flexible and willing to take suggestions though. Thanks for the help in advance  :)

Have a look at some Asus Transformer books. T100 looks good.

And don't be scared by the Atom. Atom processors are really quite good these days.

Thanks a lot I'll be sure to start looking around for some deals.

Surface tablets?

She isn't too big on tablets, she's pretty set on only using tablets to read and needs an option to connect peripherals/monitor for work related things. Thanks for the suggestion

Laptop lesson: If you get a great laptop for a higher price and it will last longer than a decent laptop at a lower price then you end up spending less money per unit of time.

I have the HP Spectre x360 and it is a great 2-in-1

Got an Android, never going back to apple again (notice I spelled apple with a lowercase and Android with an uppercase)

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll keep that in mind while I'm looking through reviews
