i finally decided to build my own desk. i will be using oak(therefor the name thor ,since oak is the strongest) pc parts.

 

MB:sabertooth z77

Cpu:intel 3770k delidded and oc to 5.2 ghz

Ram:corsair vengeance low profile 16gb

Gpu:asus 7970 Asus cu2 crossfire 6gb total.

Psu:corsair hx 1050

 

Watercooling parts.

Cpu:ek supremacy hf

Ram:ek monarch

Gpu:specially ordered block from ek for only these cards.

Pumps:ek dcp 4.0 800 lph for cpu ram loop

Alphacool 1500lph for gpu loop

Radiators:ek 360xtx,blackice 360 gtx

Res,phobyja 300ml blackchrome

fluid:ek uvgreen,and ek uv blue

i started out with the basic desk to begin with, so here are a few pics since ive gotten quite far on the project.

But how do you have the fans in the backpart set up?

If they are both on intake, your psu is going to be hot.

I would turn the one on the back of the psu around to get the hot air out of the compartment.

will probably fill the cpu loop on the weekend.

I have a question for you, I have always been interested in building a desk pc. But the thing that always get me is that I cant have my legs close to the table. Is that an issue for you seeing how the desk is a solid 15-20cm?

second,no the legs arent the problem,they are standard height of any normal table,but the tricky part is that your arms may not be to high in the air,wich means if u can get ure legs under and wont to get youre arms right out than the table may not be thicker than 17cm,but then comes the next problem,youre wires for youre graphicscard are standing out to far wich means vustom wires so the glas on top wont bend them pr put any preasure on them.
