What great memories have you had on the 360?

Great memories: it dying about 7 times through RRoD and then moving over to PC. But seriously I had some great times on guitar hero 3 and world tour, halo 3 on valhala and forge just messing around with my friends. Also just forza because I spent way too long on those games.

The 360 is still a viable console right, 10 years later? They are very cheap right now

If you want to play some of the games on there maybe, but not for any of the new games (basically any of the games that came out the last 2 years or so). Those often play quite terrible on last gen.

 

But anyways, in my opinion all consoles are viable if you want to play the games on it

I honestly don't know. However, my dad's buddy is thinking about ditching his 360 and giving it to us, and if that's the case, my dad wants our new 360E (jerk), my sister wants our battle-worn 360 Elite, and I would get his (a 360 Elite as well, I think). Which makes me happy. :D

My fondest memory was buying it. It was all downhill from there. I should have never bought it... not even as the gift for my son that it was. We already had a PS3 and were established into the PSN ecosystem. The 360 just sits there... unused... unplugged... we even have the Kinect. 

 

It was so damn expensive back then. Now it's useless. I don't follow Xbox One news, but I think I heard that it's backwards compatible now. 

 

I think we have 5 games for it.

It's got to the point now that older Xbox 360 are very reasonably priced and it makes for a great streaming device too. I really like the controller as well - it has stood the test of time.
