Mid range, £200-300 camera that can take 1080p photos and capture 1080p video?

Wait for R9 380x and buy it

I asked for a camera. Not a graphics card. -_-

Off topic... but I like it!

I'm not an audiophile, I'm just really picky about my music... and my headphones... and my speakers... and my microphone. Other than that, I'm totally not an audiophile.

Any reply is appreciated.

I use a Canon 1200D. It can shoot 1080p video at 30fps and can take 18MP images. £300.

Most camera now can record video at 1080p. What matters more is the bitrate and the frame rate.

My Canon Legria HFR606 can record at 35Mbps at 50fps, more than enough for YouTube. Under £200

1080p photo? 1080p is approximately 2 mega pixels, all modern cameras capture more than that.

Do you have any other requirements in a camera besides 1080p video? Like sensor size, lens compatibility, size, accessories, form factor, etc.

Almost everything on the market today can do 1080p video.

Basically everything since 1998 can take photos with a much higher resolution than "1080p"

What are you going to be using the camera for exactly?
