What can I get the clock speed up to on the Pentium G3258

if you can adjust the multiplier in the CPU ratio settings

 

you can OC

 

 

otherwise newer BIOS have the OC feature locked

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

The answer cannot be given definitively. However, most samples can achieve at least 4.2GHz.

 

H81 boards tend to not have overclocking features.

IME temps are not the major issue with the G3258, so your cooler is more than adequate.

 

If you can do 4.6 stable at 1.35 volts consider yourself lucky.  4.4 or 4.5 is still plenty good.
