Black Ops 3 Vs. Other Cod's

I had also played it at my friends house before buying it and I just remember how terrible it ran when we played with 2 people. (With 4 players bringing the game to a halt sometimes)

We have the 360 Slim and I had no idea that it would murder disks until my friend shouted at me when I was turning it over for ventilation. (Our PS3 and PS4 can be shaken without a disk issue)

I am referring to issues with the game when I had a non destroyed disk.

As for calling me a console hater, some of my favorite games are on PS3 (Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Ratchet and Clank a Crack in Time, Journey, motorstorm and LittleBigPlanet), and the main reason for me switching to a PC was that I am absolutely terrible with a controller. I will hate on the poor design choices microsoft has made with the disk drive on the 360 slim though.

1. I just cant relate, not me nor any of my m8s have ever seen or heard of this issue :/

2. Its just a known Xbox thing, never turn the console with the game in it, happened to me a few times as well.

3. Never called anyone a console hater in my post -_-

4. Yeh, I get that people call PC users the master race, I dont quite support the whole idea, but keyboard and mouse for me has been a huge improvement.

$550 (w/o OS) will get you something that would last 3+ years if you can deal with medium settings with no AA in the future.

you mean a 950 would last 3+ years 1080p medium settings AAA titles???

R9 380 and a i3 4170 would last that. With 4GB vRAM.

AAA title = GTA 5, an I3 has dual cores (GTA 5 requires at least 4 cores), as for other games I don't know

isn't an I5 the least for gaming?

i3 is a dual core, but it has 4 threads. So it would be compatible with any game that requires a quad core.

My friends system has a i3 4150 and GTX 760 and he can play GTA V at medium without AA at 1080p. (50-60FPS)

That's a little bit disappointing, it obviously affects the gameplay a little bit but it's not a very major issue for me

If it is the same as the beta, and runs smoothly, it still should be fun.

that's cool I didn't know a $500 pc would run an intensive game this good nut it's still expensive considering games and peripherals .

I didn't get to try out the beta because it wasn't available for ps3.

It doesn't run smooth??

I was saying that if it did (which I do not know about because I have not tried it) it would still be enjoyable.

You would have to look at youtube to see for yourself.

Well, it would also be used as a main computer too, not just a device for gaming. So that does make it worth it at some point.

If you like Zombies, get BO3, they're bring the old Zombies maps from the previous games into BO3.

They already have Der Reise.

I made a mistake of getting it on ps4 and I hate it, its too futuristic and its nothing like black ops 2. Went back to battlefield 4 straight away.

DO NOT GET Bo3 FOR LAST GEN UNLESS YOU A DAREDEVIL.

BO3 is a great game on next-gen, last-gen, i don't know. A lot of features are missing such as Campaign, Paintshop, Theater, and more. Graphics are enh and it seems very dumbed down. BUT, if you get an older COD, you are going to face the same players over and over, and it'll get bland. So up to you really.

I just got black ops 3, I don't care about the campaign or any of the other features but the multiplayer, although the graphics are bad i got used to it but the only problem is that there are not a lot of people playing but you'll eventually find a server.

It also runs at 30FPS instead of 60 like every single previous title, so that will really limit your online play. should have just kept playing black ops 1 or two

  • 2 weeks later...

I don't know if you already bought it or not but from the sounds of things it seems like a total waste to try and get it on the old gen if you want to get a quality cod on old gen i would go with BO2
