Excellent overview... Is this a sponsored vid?

what's the predicted price when it hits? and which shops will it appear in? (DataBlitz pls...)

also, how long before we see a cdr-king knockoff?

also, I'm not one to wear over-the-ear headphones while outside because of security reasons...

I meant the thing that the headphones are plugged into... phones are easier to steal unnoticed compared to headphones... and expensive-looking headphones usually means that the person is carrying a mid-high end phone...

PCHub... Gilmore then? (imo, most gaming peripheral companies would benefit partnering with DataBlitz...)

Not planning on getting anything new yet aside from a new HDD and a Q1900M for a planned low-power rig...

but I might grab a Sennheiser HD201 or a Philips SHP-1900 if I have an extra 1k PhP from Christmas...

Excellent overview...

1. Is this a sponsored vid?

2. what's the predicted price when it hits?

3. and which shops will it appear in? (DataBlitz pls...)

1. Yes, HyperX is one of my sponsor.

2. Same as the standard Cloud price, $100. (4,500 Php.) In regards to release date, no advise yet, but most probably around December 2015 and January 2016.

3. I am not familiar with their official retailers but most likely it will be available on Gilmore shops. Personally, I wouldn't recommend DataBlitz as they are only offering 7 day warranty.

4. CDR-King? Lol! *screen turns to blue*

DataBlitz is the most convenient shop for me since I have several branches within a 1 hour commute from my location... I got my peripherals from them and so far, I'm not disappointed...

as for their warranty, I've had excellent luck with my purchases so I haven't had the need to make use of warranty yet... there should be an option to make a warrantly claim directly with HyperX/Kingston if I'm not mistaken...

If these get stocked in The Listening Room (SM Megamall), Listen UP (Glorietta), or even Egghead (Robinson's Galeria), then it would say something about the sound quality...

4. Spamming

We do not want spam on Linus Tech Tips. There are certain sections of the forum designated for "off topic" and "general" posting of posts that may not fall into one of the already laid out sections of the forum. At all times though, this is a tech centered and focused forum. That being said, spam includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Excessive/excessively off-topic threads or posts.
  • Posting nonsensical messages.
  • "Flooding" the forum with similar meaning messages.
  • Post-Count farming.
  • Unsolicited advertising via private message or email.
  • Messages without content relevant to this website's mission.
  • Do not intentionally derail threads. Off-Topic is there for a reason.
  • Repeated posting with constant referrals to other website(s) with no purpose other than the promotion of that website.
  • Fraudulent activity (Pyramid schemes, chain letters, etc.)
  • Reputation or "Likes" farming.
  • The posting solely of memes or similar images without contributing to the discussion, memes can be funny and applicable but if it is completely unrelated it is spam.
  • The posting of AMA's - ask me anything type threads.
  • Posting any of the above will result in your post being deleted and your account being infracted or worse, suspended.
  • Do not create multiple accounts

4.2 Advertising

Any sort of advertisement on Linus Tech Tips that has little or no relation to Linus Media Group, or is not affiliated with Linus Media Group in any way will be considered spam and removed from the boards. This also pertains to signatures and/or profile information.
This includes but is not limited to doing a giveaway on the forums while linking/referring to outside accounts(YouTube, Facebook, etc.) in any way shape or form.
In addition to advertising, you may not sell any item via the forums other then through the Classifieds section nor advertise links to third party personal sale sites (eBay, Kijiji, etc.) where you might be selling your item.
Links in the Hot Deals section to items being sold directly by the manufacturer or distributor, such as Razor, Dell, Amazon, Best Buy, etc., are allowed, but only in this section.

Unfortunately no fundraisers or charities - Some may be okay, please contact member 'Slick' through a personal message if you have questions

5. Signatures & Profiles
Signature information must adhere to these guidelines:

  • No signature will exceed 3 lines in length on a 1080p screen.
  • No signature will ask for reputation, likes, stars or any such ego-enhancing things.
  • No signature shall have an image.
  • No signature shall be animated in any way, avatars are allowed to be animated for now. Avatars must not contain any rapid and sharp color changes (flashing, blinking, etc.) as these can cause epileptic seizures.
  • Do not manually type in a signature or sign-off at the end of every post; signatures are only allowed using the built-in signature function.
  • Do not increase font size beyond size 14.
  • Signatures are text only

The only links allowed, in your signature or status updates, are those pertaining to Linus Tech Tips (the CoC, your build log, etc.). Please note the advertising rules still apply to this. This includes listing twitch, YouTube, etc.

Profiles have various sections for listing your Twitter account, Facebook name, a URL (be it your YouTube channel or other site), etc. This is the only section where listing this information is allowed. You are not allowed to advertise this in any post as in the actual links. You can have "reference my profile for more information" for example. All Advertising rules still apply.
