i7-4790k Build

Hi,

 

I have just brought all of these parts and wanted your opinion on this build. It's for gaming, editing, 3D animation and heavy work tasks. I also wanted it to be a very small form factor for traveling around a lot and for it to be very quiet. Thanks and this is the build:

Well you probably aren't overclocking so maybe you could go with a 4790 and get the ssd

If youre doing 3D appliations you should get an Nvidia GPU to take advantage of CUDA.

Ah my bad. Well when you get more serious about it, and want to upgrade your GPU later, go with Nvidia.

Yeah I have already got the R9 280 but in the future I was planning on upgrading to a GTX 970 and a SSD

Don't get 970, get 390/390X for the extra VRAM and slightly better performance.

Did you even read why I was suggesting Nvidia? If he is using 3D software, he is better off with an Nvidia card due to CUDA and its many applications in 3D software.

Id say go with the 970. Its what I use for my 3D CAD Drafting software and works great!
