MSI GS40 Phantom (Intel Skylake 6700HQ & GTX 970M) Full Review and Benchmark

Hi Everyone,

Here's my review of the up coming gaming laptop from MSI, this is the GS40 Phantom, it features the latest CPU from Intel, the i7 6700HQ and the Nvidia GTX 970M. :)

What I have here is only the engineering sample, so no unboxing experience. :)

that's a no from me

Seems like an ok laptop, but I just can't deal with all the plastic around the screens edge; really takes away. I hate that the only thing one can say to it is "you get used to it"

Shipping sucks

Hi Everyone,

Great review, this laptop is high on my radar to replace my ageing and heavy M18x, seems a great balance of power and portability

I totally asked MSI for a sample but they couldn't give me one, sad times

Hmm its worth a consideration, not decided yet, it appears to have a pretty anaemic battery inside

Nice video! I watched it. I disabled adblock just for you! Can you please switch from the in video AD to Pre-roll AD pls! IMHO It's a lot better when it's a pre-roll AD instead of built in.

You're videos are awesome.  Subscribed and Liked!

Nice review, but this laptop is definitely not for me, as I have purchased a lenovo ideapad y50-70 (id doesnt have a M.2. slot... thats my only regret).

Keep up the good work.
