Core i7s now come with a pretty nice gaming bundle

SteveGrabowski0

Just Cause 3

CS:GO

World of Warships

I have seen this bundle offered at newegg and NCIX, but not amazon so far. It looks like it's for any i7, though for some reason newegg doesn't offer it with the 4960x. This looks like a hell of a bundle since Just Cause 3 looks like it's going to be an awesome game. Can't complain getting CS:GO either, not my style of game but it must be awesome to get the number of players it does. I have never played World of Warships so I can't comment on that though. Seems like a nice nudge to get people to buy an i7 instead of an i5 though if they were eyeing Just Cause 3.

World of Warships is a game that I have been playing quite a bit.

I want Just Cause 3, and have been meaning to try CS:GO.

And I plan to buy a 5820K in the next 2 months.

It seems a deal might actually be tailored to me.

Nice, although the only game that's actually worth something is Just Cause 3, I mean CS:GO is extremely cheap already, and if you wait for the sales you can probably get it for like €4 or less, and I've never heard of the game in the middle but my guess is some kind of free to play.

Sounds like you get a key sent with your i7 and then redeem it at the Intel site. I don't know though, I bought a server CPU (Xeon E3-1231v3) for my system so it never came with any kind of bundle.

LOL, that's hilarious for them to call a free to play game a $50 value.

Normally when a free game is included in this sort of bundle, it's some pre-paid value for the in-game store, or some sort of free upgrade that would otherwise be a microtransaction. If they reckon it to be a $50 value, then I assume it's $50 in World of Warships. That's a pretty important detail to include, though…

CS:GO, though… isn't that like $15 at full price?

My friends have said the same. But in this case I do not have to buy it.

Interesting you can get it at Playtech with an i5. Maybe it's just because you get raped on hardware prices anyway in NZ, as I don't see the bundle offered with i5s at newegg or NCIX.

A game that's already free and you buy an i7 CPU to have that game for free. Seems legit.

Bundle with i5 would make a lot better sense in my opinion. Guess they want to sell more i7s.

They should maybe do tiers like AMD.

I3 chose 1 game

I5 chose 2 games

I7 chose 3 games

I would just sell the CSGO key.

Might keep the JC3 one.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)
