pc crashes

My pc is fairly new but it has got some issues. It crashes and freezes sometimes. Also a lot of times registry errors come up. I don't know what's wrong so please help.

specs: Gigabyte z97x gaming 5 motherboard, gigabyte windforce gtx 980, intel core i7 4790k, corsair h100i, corsair rm1000 psu, Seagate barracuda 2tb *2, smasung 256gb ssd

IS the PC overclocked and have you ran any memory diagnostics to check for errors?
