megadarkwood

Nothing to intense, made some custom vinyls with my rolland printer for the side of my case(I'm a car guy too lol), sticker bombed the front case with skateboard stickers and 3d printed a headphone mount, drilled and tapped a hole to hold it, used a M5 bolt with female hex cap to make it look nice and clean.

Its tasteful. Added pics to attachments.

I have 2 or 3 mods going on at one time....but I will show the simple one that is going on right now. This is a Antec Six Hundred. Old case that was in need of cleaning and updating. I tore it down and gave it a good washing to get rid of the dust and crud in it. I decided to paint it all black. Give it that more newer look of todays cases. All the fan are blue LED. I will be putting a 120m blue LED fan on the side cover. I flied down all the sharp edges on the side covers and the inside. Then sanded all of the edges. These pics are after I did the first sanding after the first coat of paint. Had some imperfections and addressed them. I put it back together just to get a idea of what its going to look like. I plan on using all black cables and screws for this case. Ordering then at the end of this week.

I love some of the mods on here.

Here's my first case mod/ paint job, thought I would start with a cheap pc! Might have it in my lounge I like it so much, a few £s of paint and a sharpie and you're good to go :)

Not sure if it's the right place but I modded my CM Notepal Maker with some extra lights courtesy of some white SP140s. Ended up using screws on top to keep the fans in place and double-sided tape for the controller on the back. If anyone's got one of these, I'd recommend doing it purely for the aesthetics bc dat underglow.

Couldn’t wait for my noctua my-l9a to arrive so I hot rodded the node 202. Kinda like the look of the wraith prism cooler all lit up, keeps it nice and cool too taking in “outside air”

Didn't know if this was the right place to post this.  But this is my first attempt at a "Desk PC".

Asus Sabertooth Z170S

Intel i7 6700k OC'd to 4.7ghz

EK Watercooling parts for the processor (Graphics card plans on being watercooled with next upgrade)

EVGA GTX 770

16gb Corsair Vengeance RAM

Samsung 840 EVO pro at 256gb hard drive(OS) (plus 1 addition intel SSD and 3 HDDs)

Using Razer HDK Chroma lighting sync'd up through Synapse 3.0 (keyboard/mouse/light strips/headset stand+headset)

Let me know what you guys think.

So something I'd like to do, is replace the side glass on this case:

https://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-Computer-Tempered-Cooling-Management/dp/B07J63FBZJ/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=rosewill+case&qid=1575560505&s=electronics&sr=1-11

But I'm not really sure how to go about doing that, I'd like to get like custom glass panels with like a design engraved or however that process goes put into it. How would I go about finding someone that can do that? Would I go to like an actual glass manufacturer with my dimensions or would I be able to take that tempered glass to someone?

I'm interested to see if theres anyone here who has build their PC cases from scratch? Please share, small story and pictures would be nice! :) I'll share two of my most recent ones as an example.

First one is a test bench. I designed this myself after I didnt find any dimastech benches in stock in europe. Laser cut from 3mm mild steel. 90degree sata-connectors in front for SSD, HDD's can be screwed in from the side slots, PSU has plenty of room and cpu backplate is available from the rear side if no HDD's are in the way. The thing weighs 4,5kg so even with hardware on it, it will stand steady on the rear side so it can be accessed from the "bottom" like in second picture.

Next I have a rack mount 4U case for small home server. Didn't find anything cost effective and short enough here in Finland. I used 20x20 extruded aluminium profiles, and cut most of the sheets from 1mm stainless. Plastic tray under harddisks was 3d-printed. Front panel of the case is 2mm mild steel with 1mm stainless insert where motherboard can be accessed. It will hold ATX motherboard, standard PSU and 8 HDD's with ease. Exhaust of the hot air is on top of hdd's and blowing up. Holes for quad NIC were made later manually, originally NIC was straight in pci-e slot and ethernet cables came through stainless insert.
