Yeah I want to mod my window bigger, buy a new PSU (so I don't kill myself trying to sleeve those cables), eventually make a custom loop (I know not much of a mod but I consider it an improvement), and I also now am thinking of a pattern for plasti-dip :P

I suppose it is a mod in the sense that you are adding a more custom element to it besides basic computer parts. Also you can do more interesting custom loops mods like the pipe bending @JordanMac suggested.

Most places you buy the sleeving from lol. If you're looking for local, I actually saw some in a radioshack

(and ship internationally).

I've used these two: link 1, link 2

Most of the sellers with the best prices will ship out of Hong Kong (such

as these two), so shipping time may be rather long (it varies drastically:

shortest I've had was about ten days, longest was several weeks, I don't

recall the two shops above specifically though).

I've ordered lots of stuff from Hong Kong sellers (mostly electronics),

and while shipping times are not that reliable, I've only had one item

lost in the mail so far, and even though their English is sometimes not

that great, my experiences in customer service and special requests

have so far been very positive overall.

If you just search for heat shrink on eBay you'll probably find a lot

of other offers and sellers. As long as you buy from a seller with a

decent rating you'd have to be very unlucky to not have a good

experience.

If you want to have shorter shipping times I recommend searching for

something local though, either on eBay or IRL. But as long as you have

some patience, this is a great option in my experience.

Question, now i want to use the general huge heatshrink and just slide it over each cable on my psu,( not indivual cables), then just shrink it in the normal fashion, although i'm sure it's much more complicated than that, what should i do? btw here's an example of what i'm talking about

 

 

Basiclallly it would fit over the whole cable, and then i'd just shrink it.

• or take off the connector, slide the tubing on and shrink it then.

Use the search function on eBay, I've found blue and transparent, if white

exists you should be able to find it there, unless its really, really rare.
