THIS is the monitor I've been waiting for :) It'll take a while to save up for, but this is the one.

 

Think I'll be able to drive it with my current rig (specs below)  close to the 100 hz max?

 

Edit: also I didn't see it in the video, but does anyone know if the stand has tilt, height adjust, pivot?

 

Agree on that - I wish i can afford this monitor- It will definately stay on my Desk for sure - HOT DEAL!

Yeah the PG279Q looks a lot better and is a lot cheaper. Sure it isn't curved but $799 or $1299. Plus it has all those other technologies I don't even know if they do anything but flicker free can't hurt I guess.

I'm contemplating purchasing one of these monitors, but at the moment I only have a single gtx 970 strix. I think I will also need to upgrade my gpu, but I'm not sure what will give me better performance: buying another gtx 970 for sli, or selling the 970 I have and buying a 980ti (most likely the g1 gaming edition from gigabyte). If you have any recommendations, please reply.
