Need help with crashing/restarting pc.

klyru

My gf's pc keeps on crashing when she plays games.

Now, my pc used to bluescreen every now and then but that was due to a faulty sata cable.

What happens is when she plays games she gets maybe 10 minutes in then her pc restarts without warning. It does not bluescreen though so im kind of confused there. She doesnt play many games but we have tried multiple different ones to see if it was the game causing it and it doesnt appear so. Ive googled around and seen the most common issue is the power supply. I dont know what the issue could be as her power supply is a good brand and well above what she should be using. We have tried to update her windows drivers and also her graphics card drivers but to no avail. I am really hoping posting here will be able to find a solution as she doesnt like how i am able to play games still and gets annoyed when i do(and i want to play more).

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for those who take the time.

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

need the specific model

Ok so it isnt actually as good as i thought it was, her dad bought it for her.

Its a coolermaster silent pro m2, 720w bronze.

The rest of her pc is an

i7 4770k

msi gtx 780

2 ram sticks

1 SSD and 1 HDD

So now im more inclined to think it may be the psu. But its only 2 years old, should this really be happening already?
