Can't play greatest game in gaming history

So I tried compatibility modes and all that stuff but the game failed to start. Is there anything else I can do to run this classic?

Well if you want to play Ridge Racer 2 you'll need an emulator.

"Tappo II is a "cave" shoot-em-up game for 1 to 4 players. In addition, computer players can be added to a maximum of 8 players. The idea of Tappo II is, like it's name says (in Finnish), to kill enemies as many times as you can. To do the killing T2 includes 25 different spacecrafts, which all have completely different abilities and weapons. The battle arena consists of caves of the gigantic planet Neraka Prime. In caves there are repairing platforms which repair the spacecraft and load ammunition, and shops which provide upgrades and additional devices."

 

It's named TAPPO 2 for Windows and it worked perfectly on XP

I didn't get it.

 

It doesn't give any specific error message, windows just blatantly notifies me that it will shut down the program for no apparent reason.

Nope. Win8   DosBox was futile attempt also.
