For anyone having issues with the new Nvidia driver release.

Statecat

Roll back. If you don't know how to do so, you can google it and you will find very detailed instructions. If you roll back to a basic windows display adapter, then simply download the driver prior to the Battlefront driver on Nvidia's website. You can even do a clean installation with just the driver package. You don't need Geforce Experience. Before this update I was getting 120-144 FPS in Bioshock infinite. After the update, less than 80. Every game I played had a drastic hit in performance so if you are confused on why your system isn't performing correctly--even if it isn't a high end system like mine, try this and it may help a lot.

I'm going to punch your face- IN THE FACE.

I haven't seen any performance hits but the newest driver doesn't allow me to stretch my 4:3 resolution in cs:go so i downloaded the first windows 10 driver that they made.

What's this driver update thing you talking about?

still on AMD's 13.2 drivers for my GPU...not necessary to update as all I play is CSGO and some other Indie titles (maybe the occasional AAA game but max performance difference from benchmarks with updated drivers are ~5fps)

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

The newest Nvidia driver has caused performance hits and broken G-sync. Haha. It broke my monitor's G-sync so I downloaded the previous driver.

oh, right.. driver updates.. i should probably bother at some point :/

The one prior to the Battlefront update seems to be the most stable in my opinion. Although I did find Crysis not performing as well even after rolling back. Although I think that's more of the age of the game's fault. Still get a solid 70-80 FPS in the first game with Max settings and most reference 980 Tis get 40 or so FPS at the resolution I play at which is 1440p.

I'm going to punch your face- IN THE FACE.

Yeah I recently switched to Amd for the better driver support

Remember when AMD driver support was known as bad? Ah. The tables have turned.

Agreed...13.4 constantly crashed for me so I just stuck with my trusty 13.2...never crashed...did use Omega (14.12) for like 2 hours...didn't crash but it would allow me to OC my card to 1100mhz core so I switched back ...happily been running at 1100mhz core and 1350 mem since

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

The last 5 or more drivers from Nvidia have been a complete joke.

I've had to roll back drivers so many times that I've lost at least 3 years of my life already.

It's not a race to the bottom.

Stop using 4:3 pls

So many times have I seen team mates literally stare at an enemy, and fail to see them because they were playing in 4:3.

It's the most frustrating thing in the world.

I'm using 16:9 1080p now because the 4:3 is bad. But it still should work.

I have a feeling they are trying to get system away from that aspect ratio.

which, doesn't make a lot of sense considering a POS station is basically always going to be 4:3, to save space; But i'm very glad you're not on 4:3 for CS;GO :D

It's really annoying when everyone in the game can see the enemy except for your team mate xD
