Don't you still use your old programs ? I don't use APPS at all still.

 

I'm saying that they literally replaced the word program with the word app. Everything is still the same but they call them apps now.

Why should you choose Vista over XP? There's always pros and cons. If you're happy with 8.1, stick with it. 

The ONLY pro with Vista was the "Tinker" game that you got with the Ultimate edition. There were no other pros....

Start menu, cortana and that's about it.

i went back to get my 5.1 audio to work lol

and windows 8.1 doesnt stutter like my install did maybe i will retry at some other point lol

Except in one instance, Win10 is a general improvement over 8.1. Unless you've paid to have WMC on win8/8.1 then there is no reason to not go with 10

I would just stick with 8.1 for now. 10 was buggy for me as well ended up reverting a few weeks ago. Honestly there is no real reason to upgrade to 10 until DX12 games start getting released.
