Horrible Firestrike Scores After Installing Latest Nvidia Driver

I've been getting pretty tanked scores for 3Dmark Firestrike after doing a clean install of the recent 358.50 driver, which was released yesterday for Battlefront beta.

It really screwed my scores.

What's wrong??!!

You answered your own problem.

How so?

I have not found any reports of it destroying scores. May I ask how you came to that? I suspect it a bit, but I would like to know precisely where and why.

Nvidia's drivers have been really screwy in the past few months.

More screwy than AMD's.

Yeah. That bad.

Edit: Actually AMD seems to have fixed most of the issues, only had one problem that was fixed by reinstalling the drivers.

Game performance seems fine though, it's just Firestrike.

Have you seen any other reports involving 358.50 and Firestrike performance?

I have seen this before (ages ago). What happens is that sometimes when they optimize the drivers for a/some new games, it breaks performance of a of some untested (due to the great amount of them) game/software

Wait for next drivers, it usually gets fixed, or use old drivers.
