So my Desktop has been on top of my Onkyo 10'' sub-woofer for a few months and i just looked at it... is that bad? xD

 

Don't be fooled by the 10''- the whole house can shake.

the vibration can damage your hard drives and coolers on devices, so if its regularly played, yes. But only if the vibration is significant.

Well my room set up is weird not a lot of space and there r 3 monitors on the desk...

 

I'm going to go move this now.

I'm glad to see no one is worried about the magnetism.  That speaker is probably shielded and even if it isn't, HDD are a lot more tolerant than most people think!

 

but yeah the vibrations could be really bad, please stop that :P

Hard drives should not be subject to vibrations like that, period.

My subwoofer has broke glass before, god I miss subs from BOSE in the 90's

Hard drives should not be subject to vibrations like that, period.

They aren't even really meant to be moved around in laptops either when on... :/
