Phone fell and thinks there's a cover on it

Veron

I dropped my Asus zenfone 2 today, and it started acting like it has a flip cover on it. I can't get it to return to the normal screen. Help needed.

I'm not sure you understand the definition of screen cover

Okay, I'll spell it out for you.

You didn't describe the problem properly

And you get extremely upset about a little joking around :P

So, you're stuck on the lockscreen and can't unlock, right? Tried restarting?

I've tried soft reboot, but I don't know how to hard rest. It's a little frustrating when your trying to get something that you use everyday to work right and people are being unhelpful. I'm not stuck on the lock screen, but it's as if a flip cover was on my phone and doesn't go to the lock screen at all.

If you can get to the home screen, you should be able to get to all apps, and the third app of all should e ASUS Cover.

Try to untick "show cover view", and if that doesn't work you can drag and drop the app to 'disable'. That should work.

Stay on topic. If you have nothing to contribute to the thread, do. Not. Post.
