Any way to get LTT instant notifications on my android tablet?

I browse the forums on chrome with the desktop site. I hate the mobile site. Any way to get my notification led to notify me of something on the forums?

does it work with my schools wifi? Because google.com doesnt get a secure connection here and many apps do not work because of this. Strangely, twitter works.

I guess I will install it when I get home. I liked my old schools wifi where every google app would bypass the proxy.

Making settings for email notifs is one option. If you use gmail and good filtering, it might not be too much spam.
