Intel Atom Quad-Core Good for Win Tablets?

BigBig5

I am thinking of getting a Windows tablet or 2 in 1 but I don't want to spend too much when I have a gaming desktop. Is a Intel Atom Quad-core good on a Windows tablet? I will mostly be doing word proctoring, web surfing and light tablet gaming.

That's what my phone has, and it's powerful enough to run windows just fine.

Don't worry, in this day and age, Atom =/= Netbooks. They're a lot better these days.

Meh, roughly 20FPS (average) in vanilla Minecraft.  I have been playing with my niece on my brother's ASUS Transformer T100.
