Water Cooling Options/Opinions

I'm looking for either a 240mm, 280mm or 360mm cooler for my computer. Which of the following would be the best for a Core i7-6700K? (And yes my case can support all 3)

Corsair H100i - 240mm - http://www.corsair.com/en-au/hydro-series-h100i-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler

Corsair H100i GTX - 240mm - http://www.corsair.com/en-au/hydro-series-h100i-gtx-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler

Corsair H110i GT - 280mm - http://www.corsair.com/en-au/hydro-series-h110i-gt-280mm-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler

Corsair H110i GTX - 280mm - http://www.corsair.com/en-au/hydro-series-h110i-gtx-280mm-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler

What case do you have?

I will have a NZXT H440 Black/Red

A 360 radiator will perform best over a 240/280mm radiator. If you're not going to do some heavy overclocking then a 240/280mm AIO may make more sense. You could also buy a custom watercooling kit as there are only a few 360mm AIOs.

Assuming you want to overclock: H100i GTX 280mm

Ok, Thanks, I do plan on overclocking later but it's not really necessary right now + I don't have the funds for custom watercooling. I do however want to build a custom loop later on once I get the funds.

none of them. Fractal Kelvin S36 would do. Big 360mm rad, plus the fact that Fractal's stuff is top notch

I was considering that but I can't find it in stock anywhere and the RPM is a lot lower compared to something like a Corsair H110i GTX 280mm.

A 360mm AIO CPU cooler, the more surface area the better.

the RPM translates to noise. the bigger radiator is more than enough to compensate. The Kelvin can also be transformed into a custom loop, infact, it's designed for it. LTT have used one.

BEsides, if you want high RPM noisy fans, you can slap them on afterwards, but the fans that come with it do a good job.

If I go with a 280mm I'm only missing out on 4000mm2, not much compared to the 240mm.

Surface Area

360mm - 43200mm2

280mm - 39200mm2

240mm - 28800mm2

But why dont you want a 360mm AIO instead so that you get higher heat dissipation due to more surface area, lower noise because of slower spinning fans, upgradability to a custom loop (feature of some) and etc?

Do you see yourself going for a small case in the future? Is it out of your budget?

Used to be able to get it in Australia but I seem can't to find it any more and the shipping prices from the USA are ridiculous.
