Do you think a stand needs to be exciting?

 

Pleasing and functional imo

 

By exciting I mean pleasing, yes. Are they functional? yeah, sure. Do they look particularly good/exciting? IMHO, no.

I've been trying to get in contact with Linus because my model was wrong when it was put together.

I actually like the winning design but I do think its a bit big. I guess I have one coming to me (my girlfriend has said she doesn't like it and its not going on the wall :P ). I think the runner up was too simple. 

I'm not shouting for a recount or anything I cant even believe I made it this far, all I want to know now is if they can ship me my 3D model (signed too would be cool :P ).

 

I think the biggest problem with this whole competition is there has been so many issues with prints and decisions that we wont get another competition like this.
