1440p or UHD?

C1intFunWood

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a 1440p or UHD to accompany with my current H236HL.

I'm stuck on choosing these two options 'cause the TN UHD monitors are the same price as the 1440P IPS monitors and wanted your guys' opinion on this.

I currently love my IPS panel on my H236HL and I haven't used a TN panel in a long time so....

What do you want to achieve and what gPU do you have?

want 60 fps? I would go 1440p if you dont have a great setup.

I have a 290 and it hits 1440p 60fps well.

I want to game on a single monitor and do productivity with both monitors. I have 2x R9 290s so that should handle UHD pretty well.

I would still go 1440p. especially those ones that have decently high refresh rates.

Hell, even a LG 34UM67 would do you well with the Freesync and ultrawide.
