Build Opinion and Future Planning Questions

So this is the PC I'm working on. I'm ordering my last part (CPU) this weekend. I wanted everyones opinion and to ask a few questions while I'm at it.

Skylake Gaming PC Build

CPU: Intel i5 6500 (Skylake)

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master 212 Evo

Motherboard: MSI Z170A Krait Gaming

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4-3000

SSD: Sandisk Ultra II 120GB (OS & Drivers)

HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB (Games, Programs, Etc)

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming 3.5GB GDDR5

Case: Corsair Vengeace C70 (Black) Mid-Tower

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ Gold Fully Modular

OS: Windows 10 Home

Thats it as of the moment. As far as future plans, I wan tto run 5760x1080p Nvidia Surround for Sim Racing and just 1920x1080p for other games so I had a few ideas for GPU uprades in the air. I could either get a second GTX 970 or upgrade to a single GTX 980Ti and Sell my Used 970 by then (few months down the road). I didnt really feel like spending 700 dollars on a GPU off the bat so I just got the 970.

Second thing is, if I plan to upgrade parts, what parts can I not upgrade easily (without complications)? I heard the motherboard is the big doodad that makes it a problem because of the Hard Drives having the first motherboards stuff on it. Is that true As well?

Lastly, an honest opinion would be nice. (And I went with the 6500 which I'm buying friday because overclocking isnt something I was really worried about)

Usually everything is pretty easy to upgrade, GPU, Hard Drives, CPU is not too hard, if your asking the hardest to upgrade probably motherboard because of the current settings for the drives

Well, you would only have to do 1 thing, and that is set the hard drives up, which is really easy. You just go into the BIOS and select what you have now, RAID, etc. and thats it, and obviously re plug everything back in

So its that easy? It just reconfigs the drives when set and goes green from there?

Upgrading a motherboard generally means re-installing the o/s as there are usually a number of motherboard specific drivers that must be changed.

Upgrading a cpu often means upgrading the motherboard. If if doesn't the upgrade usually is not worth the cost.

Storage is generally fairly easy to upgrade as are gpu, memory, and cpu coolers. Upgrading a boot drive can be tricky but there are utilities available to ease the task.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
