Is my build or this diy kit better?

So i found a build on newegg and i was wondering if it was any better than mine, both use the i5 4460 but the main difference is the gpu, 960 4 gb vs 380 4 gb

They're basically the same, you might get slightly better performance from the newegg kit.

'Slightly' still means 'some'. The 380 2GB does anywhere from 10-25% better in games, that's a big difference when comparing GPUs.

I probably should have just said "better" instead of "slightly", but I think you get what I mean.

His build beats it by 15-20%. The Newegg build is nowhere near as good, much less "slightly" better. Educate yourself before you try to educate others.

I don't know why you're getting pissy over a graphics card but I guess that's to be expected from a forum like this.

For your build, just keep it as a regular 7200rpm HDD. Getting an SSHD is a bad choice as you barely have any gains and are unreliable

So that's why no one uses them in builds on ltt.  do you think raid 0 will be tedious for someone who has never built a pc from scratch before?

Your build is far better. Just please do not buy a seagate hard drive. Get a hitachi or western digital, their reliability is far, far better.

Only toxic when you refuse to admit you were wrong.

We're not elitist or arrogant. The fact that you denied our knowledge and tried to assert your own opinion before looking at the facts is what made me "slightly" angry.

There should be no toxicity whether one is right or wrong.

@[member=The Official Czex] should know, he is enough of a Mug to have the code of conduct linked in his signature

"Don't be a dick" is indeed in the code of conduct. So don't be a dick...

Gah! You Mug!
