Battlefront ULTRA settings on GTX 760 2GB

Thony

I have to say im impressed by the optimization on this game given the requirements....

1st thing i did when I launched the game was ofcourse set it to ULTRA and see what happens. Suprisingly my PC can run it above 30fps (wasnt expecting due to requirements).

But the most pleasing for me was to find out that 16GB requirements is surely not targeted for 1080p (at least not in beta version). On my PC the game only uses a little over 4GB :)

yup i played today for 30 mins and i felt like the game is already out of beta. I even cant remember the last time a game was so well optimized even before its launch.

Hell Yeah!! I enjoyed the game and its gameplay, seriously thinking to buy it..

Seems like they have done a very good job with this from a graphical/technical standpoint.

My 280x runs it on high or ultra at 1080 60fps. Very surprised as I can't get that in BF4.

Interesting. BF 4 runs better for me thank this (mostly because this has higher res textures).

I'm getting a constant 60+ fps everything ultra with my R9 280.

Considering this is still a beta and it's not yet optimized by GPU manufacturers, this is really damn impressive.

There's nothing amazing about the optimization, the maps we are given in the Beta are not really demanding. It's not that hard to render snow and rocks. 0 grass and trees, and that's what slays GPUs. This map will be crazy demanding:

i7 9700K @ 5 GHz, ASUS DUAL RTX 3070 (OC), Gigabyte Z390 Gaming SLI, 2x8 HyperX Predator 3200 MHz

I played the game once and i struggled to maintain decent FPS on LOW settings at 4K resolution :/

ULTRA AA OFF

min 15 max 36 avg 23

LOW AA OFF

min 39 max 68 avg 50

I was expecting a bit more :/

Game isnt optimized for SLI. I had one guy say his SLI was resulting in other card only being used at 20-40%.
