Good Laptop or Meh Laptop + Other things

The_Laginator

Not sure what to do.

I need a laptop for sure. I have a gaming PC, though I am somewhere else during the week (why I need a laptop).

I'd use it for homework/schoolwork and light gaming.

Should I buy a more expensive gaming laptop for more gaming preformance (I was looking at the MSI GE70 2QD).

Or should I buy a cheaper laptop, though have money left over to also buy other things like steam games, and my headset broke this weekend so I need to replace those aswell.

I really need advice!

It will be able to run games pretty well but if I were in your situation and I would be away from my main rig most of the time I would probably spend a bit more to get a slightly nicer laptop. I'd much rather pay extra for a 970M over a 950M.

Sig under construction.

Let's say you are getting an expensive laptop, what's your budget?

I don't really have a specific budget, or much money right now, though I'd be able to get more soon. Where I live the GE70 2QE is 950 Euros and I would be able to get that much (though not much over it)

I can't really afford much more, though I also need to buy other things like replace my Headset.

Go for something like this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315065&cm_re=940m-_-34-315-065-_-Product

its cheap and does do light gaming (csgo, dota, league etc)

most problems are with the trackpad, so if you can get past that its a good laptop
