So my friend wants to buy a new monitor that is preferably 2k, but will the 660 even support it? He is going to be mainly using the monitor for games like CS:GO, also it kinda has to be a dell monitor as he gets a discount from them

Yeah. I run my U2515H using HD 3000 graphics :P

Yep, the 660 has DP and DL-DVI, both of which support 1440p. 

But will he get decent fps with it
